The challenge
For a functional-medicine practice, the website is the front door: bookings, health assessments, and patient stories all live there. Triad of Health's WordPress site sat on hosting that was slow, unreliable, and expensive — and every improvement Dr. Skolnikoff wanted was harder than it should have been. The practice's most persuasive content, real patient video testimonials, was invisible to search engines and unusable for anyone who couldn't watch with sound.
Our solution
In one week we migrated the entire WordPress site to AWS — Lightsail for the application, S3 for media, CloudFront delivering it worldwide — with every URL and booking flow preserved. On the new foundation we built a custom video library for the patient stories: all 20 testimonials were transcribed with Whisper, OpenAI's speech-recognition model, and each transcript appears alongside its video — readable, accessible, and fully indexable by Google. Since then we've kept shipping site improvements as an ongoing partner.
Results
The practice now runs on infrastructure that is cheaper to operate and noticeably faster to load, with room to grow instead of hosting limits to fight. Twenty patient stories that used to live only inside video files now work as searchable, accessible content — and when the practice needs a change, it ships fast enough to earn the reaction below.
